I have chosen to work with untraditional subject matter and to transform mundane objects. These are objects that occupy and define a domestic environment. They are the stuff thrown down, tripped over, passed by, picked up, hanged up, and used every day. These are commonplace materials defined through a woman's experience.
I am creating monumental pieces recognizing the formal elements, patterns, themes and references filtered through a woman's eye. I encourage the viewer to see the extraordinary in the everyday.
